Sergio, they all look good!

Pity about the cleaning. But I agree with Bill, they look OK.

Cheers, Ade.

Well, as long as the serial numbers have not been replaced, I am happy!
These ORS are part of a group to a captain, which booklet I have posted with questions in the Fake Award Documents section.

Yes, I saw that topic thread. You are lucky to have all the Red Stars in this group.

Thank you, Bill. Nevertheless I still have some doubts their serial is original. Maybe not all of them, but the 900k has some differences with respect to the reference of soviet-screwbacks. The star tips, for instance, are too rounded in my opinion for this range of serials.

Bill,
This cannot be good, with this serial number mint mark is not coeval with the D elongated.
For my is :thumbsdown

Respectfully, I disagree. I like it. I think it matches the example of a Type 6, Variation 3, with the 8mm mint mark and other characteristics as manufactured by the Moscow Mint and as illustrated by the example (#910649) on the site you mention. The serial number engraving looks good, although I think the reverse was polished.

They seem rounded because of the heavy polishing, but I too believe that the orders themselves and the serial numbers are original.
