Honor flag of the TsIK (Почётное революционное Красное Знамя) awarded to the Order of the Red Banner Baltic Fleet featuring (erroneously!) the Order of the Red Banner of the USSR (Орден Красного Знамени СССР) (photo from the Navy Museum, St Petersburg).

Now, I believe that this one will cost dearly our beloved CtahhR Wink

Bust to twice Hero of the Soviet Union (Бюст дважды Героя Советского Союза) awarded to Popkov V.I.
Popkov is shown wearing his two hero stars (Медаль "Золотая Звезда"), two Orders of Lenin (Орден Ленина), Order of the Red Banner of the USSR (Орден Красного Знамени СССР), Order of Alexandre Nevski (Орден Александра Невского), Orders of the Patriotic War 1st and 2nd class (Орден Отечественной войны 1-ой и 2-ой степени), Order of the Red Star (Орден Красной Звезды) and a number of medals (Медали) (if I count properly, 5 are shown).

On the picture, he also happens to wear the 60th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 (60 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941—1945) and 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 (65 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941—1945) Big Grin

1+1+1+1+1+1 = 6 Points (An additional 7 points if Art can make out the 60 and 65 Medals)

May I ask why there were no points awarded for this one?
3 Points were awarded for the monument . 1 each for the reproduced Hero Stars and 1 for the reproduced Order of Lenin. The post has be re-edited after I scored.

OK, you did not indicate the total in that post Big Grin

I do not completely follow your point awarding here. All of the orders and gold star I posted (2xHSU, OL, ORB, ON, ORS, OPW 1 & 2, ORB) are visible on the monument. Why only 1 point for the OL, and nothing for the other orders? What about all those orders plastered on the recipient's jacket (who happens to be the person whose bust is shown on the monument)? He is definitely wearing all of those shown on the monument, plus some. And there is both translation and original title for each one of those awards.
As this Monument is in honour of a recipient of awards only awards that have been duplicated on the "Gramota" style area are counted as the bust would not exist had the "bust" not been plastered in awards. However if you can find a picture of this monument being worn by someone you can have some serious bonus points!

I am also getting the second opinion on the post just to confirm.

The amount of points that could be earned is almost infinite - so get posting folks!

The award that sparked this idea has not yet been posted. As it is not a blatantly obvious award by any means - I am offering 20 bonus points to the person who is first to post the award in question!

I'll have to respectfully disagree here: bronze busts to twice hero of the Soviet Union were official awards of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet. When a hero received his second gold star, a bust was automatically built in his hometown and that fact inscribed on the awarding document (see attached picture, for which I may also receive some credit...).

All of this is clearly documented in the Status of the Title of Hero of the Soviet Union: "Герой Советского Союза, совершивший вторично геройский подвиг, не меньший того, за который другие, совершившие подобный подвиг, удостаиваются звания Героя Советского Союза, награждается орденом Ленина и второй медалью “Золотая Звезда” и в ознаменование его подвигов сооружается бронзовый бюст Героя с соответствующей надписью, устанавливаемый на его родине, о чем делается запись в Указе Президиума Верховного Совета СССР о награждении."

I think to be fairest on the subject of monumental busts to double heroes we'll use the following standard:

1 Point for any award reproduced off of the "bust" region
1 Point for the native name of any award reproduced off of the "bust"
1 Point each for awards replicated on the "bust" area with is also worn by the original recipient BUT both the "bust" and original recipient have to be in the same photograph.
1 Point each for the original name of any awards matched on both the "Bust" and recipient in the same photograph.

That sounds pretty dinkum to me!
