OK, I would also have a second opinion, as it was officially awarded by the Supreme Soviet. No matter how we twist it, it is written black on white on the award diploma.
Anyway, let's keep digging: here is an honor folder (Почённая папка) awarded to Sergey Kirov by the Revolutionary Military Council of the Baltic Sea Navy Forces, featuring (once more...) an Order of the Red Banner of the RSFSR (Орден Красного Знамени РСФСР). (original award in post 23)
1+1+1+1+1 = 5 Points
PS: do I have to show the ORB in each post to get credit, or can I simply refer to it like I did above?

Order of Mother Glory 1st and 2nd classes (Орден "Материнская Слава" 1-ой и 2-ой степени), showing the Red Star (Order of the Red Star [Орден Красной Звезды] :laff)

OK, so, it sounds like I'm going to give you some extra work. I'll edit my posts and add pics where I indicated links.
So, I updated posts 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 38, 39 and 49 :cheers
That is very reasonable. It's a good job I learnt how to count! I've certainly got some work on with this competition...... The more posts there are the more staring at the screen I have to do!
