Awarded to Private Nikolai Gavrilovich Zherebtsov, 100th Cavalry Regiment. A 1958 award (for obvious reasons).

The award and a partial recommendation translation. Much translation wants doing.

The line about being awarded many times is interesting. With what, I wonder?

As for translation, one way to go about it is to retype the documents in cyrillic and copy and paste the reproduced text into google translator. Spend some time tweaking and you'll at least have a good idea of what's there.

I assume for something related to work. Certificates, cigarette boxes, watches, whatever.

I'm just guessing here, but it could also be a translation of поощрение, which can also mean 'commendation' or 'reward' or even 'pat on the back'.

It was the verb premirovatsya, indeed "receiving a bonus / prize / award".
