It's so familiar and yet I couldn't find it in Avers or at Igor's place.
I'm leaning towards a Republic's award from Ukraine.
You can't get a clearer image of the front, or a transcription?

The only thing that I can make out is "Ukrainian RSR". It looks like some type of republican prize or awards.

After more than 2 months from the theme beginning, I happen to see this medal interests someone. This is “Honoured inventor of the Ukrainian SSR”. First type, 196x years, Moscow mint.
