Here's a KIM badge. It's the only one I have ever come across.
My scanner makes it look a little funky, but it is flawless overall. I don't particularly collect Komsomol, but I do have at least a couple dozen variations of Komsomol badges and some Komsomol miscellany. That's "junk" to most people, but interesting to me. This is likely my rarest Komsomol badge. Somewhere around here I have a really good early Komsomol propaganda picture. If I find it, I'll post it.
"I am NOT a badge addict" Nor am I. I can quit any time I want. No, really. I only want one more. No, two.
I would not name it's "Badge". It's Pin.
Mine are on the pic.I took them with me from Leningrad.
No.1,2,3 and 4 made of heavy metal and enamel.
Notice size difference?

#4 has Moscow Mint mark.
#5,6 and 7 made of aluminum and lacquer(BullSh**).
#5: 50 years aniversary, so made in 1968.
#6 I've got in 1972.
#7 has date:1973.
