Labour Bonds.
#1
Many organisations in Cuba hand out Bonds which are sort of congratulatory receipts for labour contributed. Some are named and others aren't.

Firstly a Bond Of Participation on Red Sunday 2nd November 1980, 63rd Anniversary of the October Revolution.

A Bond Of Participation in the Youth Sunday Of Productive Labour, 4th April 1983 honouring the 30th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada barracks.

Since I read "Voluntary work", I assume these "bonds" have nothing to do with cash.
Do you know if these can be used for other purposes rather than just congratulating the recipient?
There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

The Who, Won't get fooled again

I believe these are primarily used as certificates, proving the person had donated their time. I know in some organisations/projects a collection of these "coupons" are exchanged for an award (a Badge or the such) but I'm uncertain as to whether these can be used for other perks.

It may be the case that these are like the old Green Stamps (if anyone can remember them?) but rather than being rewarded for spending, rewarded for volunteering and like the old stamps, many of them will be unredeemed.

More on Luisa M. Betancourt Mantilla.

Here annual Trade Union "quota" of 14 Pesos for 1968 as a worker of education.
