This appeared after I upgraded the VBSEO software for the forum. It's more popular on Wordpress sites, where members can click on the like button to more or less give a "thumbs up" to a post that they well, like. To be honest I'm not to sure of where or how else to use it
I think it's just a fun little gizmo that I could probably disable, but I kind of like the like button. To date, the only place I've found where you can see who likes any of the posts is to click on the username of the poster and at the right of the user's profile, you will see a box "Mini Statistics". Simply click on the appropriate link to see the relevant info.
