M 45 Uniform?
#1
Hello,

is this a M 1945 uniform or a M 43 Uniform?
Are the officer's tabs at the uniform missing? Or are there usually no tabs at the dress coat?
What are the differences between an M 43 and and M 45 jacket?

regards
Andreas

Hi Alfred,

The M1943 was the prade uniform for officers, and it was used in 1945; there was not a seperate M1945 officers parade uniform, only generals changed from a M1943 to an M1945 parade uniform.

Yes, it seems the collar insignia has been removed; are the cuff spools there?

Alfred, here is a correct example of an M1943 officer parade uniform, here for a Lt.Colonel of Engineers. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello DougD,

Thanks for your answer. Yes there is one cuff spools on the left and on the right of the arm. The singn of branch on the shoulder boards are also missing.

Is it easy to replace / to get collar insignia ?

Andreas
