Medal "3rd Anniversary Of The Great October Socialist Revolution".

Anyone seen one of these things? What is it for?

Seems to be 3rd anniversary of the revolution?
Maight be a fantasy. I am not sure, but I think something similar was already discussed long time ago in this forum

Jeff,

That is the silver version of the commemorative medal for the 3rd anniversary of the Revolution. There is also a bronze version. Original ones of either type are rare as hen's teeth while copies/replicas/restrikes/call-them-what-you-want are more than plentiful. As far as I know, there are no set criteria for assessment...

If you intend to get it, get it as a copy, that way you'll be on the safe side.

I think I saw this medal among the images of the NYC auction lots of a month or two ago. The auction pieces were in much rougher condition.

Yes, and they sold for over $1000 each if I remember correctly.

[Nota Bene]

Just wanted to add that the medal posted by Jeff is a copy.
