Sorry, there's no easy way for tracing serial number to the name.

BTW, nice serial number!

Hello guys!

I've just received PS II from Ebay, it looks good, but I'm not really sure that it's original :(

I don't like the screw, as well as 'II' seems to be placed a bit closer to the screw then should be.

Also, when I twist the nut up to the end there is a space at right side between the nut and back side of the order. So the screw is not at 90 degrees angle to order.

Thanks

Thank you for the response!

Everything another looks good, I could even say perfect, so the order doesn't seem to be 60 years old

Today I've seen a lot of photos of such orders but couldn't find one with 'II' placed so close to a screw.

Also, can you say what's the weight of your 2nd class orders? This one weights 22.7 g (without the nut).

Added more photos of suspicious order.

Well, this message board has been a little dormant and I hope we can get it going again.

I FINALLY broke out of my Soviet and Mongolian collecting for a moment and just bought my first Partisan Star III Class #4865. I will post photos when I receive it. There are a few on the market right now, but this is the lowest serial I could find. I paid 60 USD, which seemed fair.

I am really interested in Soviet Bloc medals that were actually made at the Soviet Mint. That is what originally drew me to the Mongolian field as well.

Here is #19725, a late Soviet example.

Prices have been falling in parallel to Soviet items and these Soviet made Partisan Stars can now be picked up for $20-$25 - the Yugoslav made ones even less.
