Gents,
A very nice image of HSU Tank Troops Lt Gen V. Mishulin and HSL Military Engineer First Rank A. G. Kostikov. Note the folder and award case in Kostikov's left hand - you can make out "Hero of Socialist Labor" as well as his surname and patronymic. Image dates to March 28th, 1942. Regards, slava1stclass

Gents,
While far from being the sharpest image, one thing is perfectly clear - HSU Guards Starshina First Class A. S. Morukhov also earned the Excellent Submariner badge. Now that's a badge you don't see in wear all too often, let alone on a HSU winner. Regards, slava1stclass

Here is an early 1945 photograph of Guards Lieutenant Colonel Grigorij Sergeevich Gorchakov, Chief Of Staff, 5th Guards Airborne Division, taken in Sankt Pölten. By this time he was a triple recipient of the Red Banner. So why only two?
In 1937 he was "questioned" by the NKVD and they confiscated his RSFSR Red Banner #97. Even with the (second) distinct wartime service he didn't get a duplicate until well into the 1950's.
