Gents,

This Guards Colonel gets bonus points for using his Guards badge to give him the pyramid effect.

Gents,

A very interesting image in that the number of his foreign decorations/medals equals that of his Soviet.

Gents,

An extremely interesting and rare image. It shows the future (albeit short lived) MSU, seen here as an Army Commissar Second Rank, wearing his Five Year VChK-GPU badge which he was awarded in 1932.

Am I seeing that correctly?

Note the 15-Year VChK-GPU badge on this unidentified Corps Commissar.

If I am not mistaken, were not such style of jacket made from rubberized canvas also post 1930X?

Nice early one. I'd give my eye teeth for one of those.
