Gents,
Here are images of the two references I referred to in post #1 above. The Ushakov book (published 2011) and Nakhimov book (published 2012) were written by the same author - the person who also wrote the 655-page hard cover volume on HSUs. Though not inexpensive, each is currently available on the well-known auction site via the well-known NYC-area dealer.
Ushakov book is Russian text with 23 pages of color and b/w photographs.
Table I is organized as follows:
1. Serial Number of the Medal
2. Last, First and Patronymic Name of the recipient.
3. Military Rank at the time of award.
4. Military Unit which bestowed the award.
5. Number of the award decree.
6. Date of the award decree.
Also included are a list of five U.S. sailors awarded with the Ushakov Medal in July 1945 and a complete list of the former cadets of the Solovetskaya Naval School who were awarded with unnumbered medals in July 1992.
The Nakhimov book is organized similarly and incorporates 40 pages of color and b/w photographs. It also includes a list of 15 U.S. sailors awarded the Nakhimov Medal in July 1945.
