Soviet Wrote:No I can't confirm it, but considering the display I thought it wasn't the real thing. Great idea! I cleaned up this one and Soviet's a little through photoshop and have added them to our avatar collection. Of course to get such an honor as the Order of Victory you have to work for it it is available to any member with 500 posts or more. Feel free to send more..I'll try the metro victory but it may be to dark

Gee, I've got less than 500 posts. I'll post more pictures in that case.

Christophe Wrote:Art, I couldn't resist :devil that ceiling light with the glowing red "rubies" is fantastic. I'd give anything for a replica to replace the ceiling light in my "collecting room".

Soviet Wrote:Marc, is the Almazniy Fund at the Kremlin near the Armoury Palace? Soviet, The Almazniy Fund is in fact inside the Armoury Palace. You have to purchase a separate entrance ticket once inside the Armoury Museum. Then, you enter in something like a huge vault where diamonds, gold, platinum and other goodies are on display; only drawback (well, there are actually quite a few of them in fact): strictly no cameras allowed, no mobile phones, and they kick you out after a maximum of 45 minutes inside. Still, it is well worth the entrance price Marc |
