Stankevskij, Dmitrij Ivanovich, Guards Major-General, Commander, 346th Rifle Division

[Nota Bene]

I was going through my collection of scans and found some interesting photos:

Suvorov 2nd class.

[Nota Bene]

Another one, but with a "D"...

[Nota Bene]

Kutuzov 2nd and its "Duplicate"...

[Nota Bene]

Khmelnitsky 2nd.

[Nota Bene]

... and the duplicate.

Are any of the award pairs both real? As in one of the orders was the original that was lost or stolen and the other is the award to replace it?

An the winner is ... Tommy. Wow, I am almost sorry that you have nailed it so soon.

You are absolutely right - all the awards posted here are genuine. The originals were stolen from the recipient and he was issued the duplicates.

They belong to Major-General Stankevsky, Dmitry Ivanovich.
