Here is the Title "Republic Of Karakalpakstan People's Artist" (Qaraqalpaqstan Respublikasi' Xali'q Artisti/Qaraqalpaqstan Respublikası Xalıq Artisti/Қарақалпақстан Республикасы Халық Артисти).
This Title is the second highest award of the award system of Karakalpakstan and was founded c1994. This is a Type 1 (Pre-2009 script).
The Title is awarded very sparingly, after the recipient has previously been awarded the Title "Republic Of Karakalpakstan's Meritorious Concert Artist" or "Republic Of Karakalpakstan's Honoured Arts Performer" and for the following merits;
"«Qaraqalpaqstan Respublikasi’ xali’q artisti»- teatr, muzi’ka, kino, estrada, televidenie ha’m radio yesittiriwin rawajlandi’ri’w, respublikada do’retiwshilik kadrlari’n tayarlaw ha’m ta’rbiyalawdag’i’ ayri’qsha xi’zmetleri ushi’n ko’rnekli ko’rkem wo’ner g’ayratkerlerine beriledi.
«Xali’q artisti» hu’rmetli atag’i’, keminde bes ji’l buri’n «Qaraqalpaqstan Respublikasi’na xi’zmet ko’rsetken artist» yamasa «Qaraqalpaqstan Respublikasi’na miyneti sin’gen ko’rkem wo’ner g’ayratkeri» hu’rmetli ataqlari’ menen si’yli’qlang’an adamlarg’a ko’rkem wo’ner tarawi’ndag’i’ jan’a jetiskenlikleri ushi’n beriledi." I have only been able to identify one recipient, O’mirbay Qosi’mbetov (who was previously awarded "Meritorious Concert Artist").
