Post a scan and we'll have to see. I can translate Georgian (as long as it's not a doctor's writing!).

My focus is on Georgians and Railwaymen so if the two meet I'm there!

ნაშეცვარიძე, მიხეილ პოლიკარპეს (Nashetsvaridze, Mixeil P'olik'arp'es)
რაიკოძე, იმილიის ორჯონიკიძის (Raik'odze, Imilis Orjonk'idzis)

I think both have spelling mistakes in them having been translit. No results for either name but it is most likely supposed to be Raikadze. Idze and Adze works Odze is just Odd.

None of their items (or anything even similar in the collection).

Dear multi-cultural colleagues,
I wonder if anybody can help me to translate from Armenian the recipient name from the order book? (please see the attached pics)
If it is not Armenian, possibly Azerbaijanian? (some of the order books in this group with Armenian names has Azerbaijan stamps)
Thank you in advance,
Igor

It's Armenian SSR awarded to an ethnic Armenian (ten letter surname ends nyan) with the entitles P.Y.P.

Armenian handwriting is one of my least favourite to transcribe.

Some of the other examples of the name written in the group may be easier on the eye.

Thank you! I'm sure I will find an Armenian native somewhere. Other names in the group are quite easy to read- all in clean russian writing.

If it is a "group" the name should be the same throughout in any script (excepting cultural variation).

Armenia is a good place to find Armenians.....

I was lucky to find one quickly:)
So, the name on the document is: Amirhanyan Piruza Shaivaladovna! ( I wonder if the 1st name is Armenian equivalent to Central Asian "Feruza" ?)

It also means that the documents are to different people, so it is not really a one-person group....oh well
