....that this is OK?
I see the '47 date at the bottom. The green 'scribbling' is what's throwing me off.
It looks like someone took a pen and wrote over some of the award stamps. Does anybody recognize what perhaps was awarded? Or is this just not worth even trying.
Again, thanks in advance.
edit: guess it would help if I attach an image.

I can't believe there was only one other bidder on this. I Got this for about 25 bucks total. You can bet I'll post pictures when and if it arrives.

What a mess that one is. I just don't think it's worth bidding on.
I can barely make out the following:
1. CSM
2. ORS
3. something unknown (below the stamped word "medal")
4. OPW2 (in green)
I guess it's always possible that some old veteran water-damaged his booklet, and then tried to re-create the entries. It's so rough that this might actually be possible since a faker might try harder!
Thanks Brian.
Paul, I'm so low on the learning curve for these that I could ski under a pregnant ant! :D I'm just finding things, throwing them up here and getting feedback. Occaisionally bits of info stick in my brain and so I won't have to bug you guys later on.
