Seems I've come full circle!
If I had the ability at this time, I would present a new acquisition to the forum.

Oh yes "for wounds".
I think that covers it!

22.02.68 was a date for many "50 years of soviet army and fleet" awardings. I don't see any for 15.02.68 though, which goes along what CtahhR and Auke said.

Would anyone out there have an details (such as numbers of awards or recipients names) on Ukazes celebrating the 50th anniversary of the revolution/civil war?
I have picked up some 1967 dated awards that are definitely to Civil War veterans. Are there any researched Medals "For Combat Merits" citations floating about to get the idea? Here is one example of how I know someone is a Civil War Veteran. This chap got about. "Stalingrad to Budapest" a citation reads. North-Western, South-Western, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Ukrainian Fronts - riding his desk all the way!

Hi CtahhR, not sure if you remember about that thread, but that might provide part of the info you are looking for.
