Ukrainian Forces WWII era

I purchased this in Kiev (which immediately makes it suspect), but it doesn't glow under UV light and looks appropriately aged.

I under and over exposed the photo to show as much detail as possible.

Anyone have any comments?

Interesting patch. I have seen 2 others, both on uniforms, in a friends collection.

If someone wants to say its repro, I'd like to hear why (other than "they are making them up for tourists", etc.)

The TR forum might have more opinions (i would never say answers with this stuff).

Its an arm shield of the U.V.V. "Ukrainske Vyzvolne Viysko" (Ukrainian Liberation Army). The more common arm shield has the national colours with the Trident symbol place in the centre. Above the shield is the Cyrillic letters resembling Y.B.B., which represents U.V.V. This one seems to be a variant as it doesn't ahve the Blue and Yellow national colours on it. Nice find, could be worth a lot too and as it doesn't glow you know its original.
