People's Commissariat Of The Lines Of Communication Belt Buckle
#21
Definitely NOT for sale! The condition doesn't photograph very well but the buckle certainly has had decades of wear and with the supreme robust quality it will be able to be worn for generations to come. This is an item that pre-dates the "throw away" culture and will probably outlast it too!

When enough folk have put in their experienced opinions I'll spill the beans on how much I laid out to have this fine piece of Soviet production.

Since the opinion of commons is called for in this guessing game, I would go for 70-80 USD.

There are quite a few variations of this type of buckle - this one being in poor condition (IMO, of course, and judging from the provided images)...

I would not give up more than $30.00 to acquire it.

I think I did well.... I paid $5 for it however I was sold it as an Imperial Bulgarian item (which is definitely is not nor did I think). I think it'll go quite well with some of the Trans-Caucasus Railway items that I've been buying up more recently.
