Fake "Excellent" Badges. - Gunnett - 05-04-2005
I was in St. Petersburg last week. Copies of these badges were everywhere. You could buy complete sets at a number of places. I saw them at the Peter and Paul Fort and a uniform shop and sold on the street at tourist stands. I think they were asking something equal to $6.00 each. There were no bargains to be found.
I didn't buy any, I was able to put together a almost complete set while stationed in Berlin in early 1990.

Guys,
I believe the Sapper is genuine; the Airforce I am not so sure, but the screwplate is definitely a fake (seen those already).
