In case of military veterinary service - the same, but with "veterinary" word before "medical assistant" or "doctor"

So where do the enlisted ranks fit in with this (triangle rank devices in m35/m40 line)? This would seem to only cover officer ranks (squares, rectangles, and diamonds)

Nobody can give the order here - we aren't in Army.
But anyone can give the advise - it's a forum.

Enlisted ranks ware common to all army services.

Then please learn to give advice or suggestions that do not sound like an order. We are a forum, not an army, but we do have rules. Thank you for observing those.

My english isn't perfect.
Let me know, what's wrong with "Learn more about RKKA medical staff ranks." sentence?
Thanks.

It's not a large problem at all, it was just a correction so that this forum does not turn into an ego dominated and hostile free for all (those forums seem to be all over).

When you tell another member to "Learn more" about anything it comes across as somewhat demeaning and / or dismissive to them (as you can see with the 'Yes Sir' reply). I would simply advise that in the future if you have information you think they should refer to, then post it and tell them to please look it over.

Again, not a major problem, just a small issue that I think we have dealt with.

Your information is great so please keep posting it; lets move on with this interesting thread on Medical commanders.

Gents,

When I originally referred to these officers as general officers, I did so on the premise that their rank insignia (two diamonds) inferred same.

As a contrasting example, a battalion surgeon in the U.S. Army holding that title would not wear the rank insignia of a lieutenant colonel (normally the battalion commander's rank). He/she would wear his/her actual commissioned rank insignia (normally a captain).

At a minimum, I would think these Soviet officers would have been accorded the same deference/privileges as a line officer wearing a two diamond collar insignia.

I am aware of that. What I am asking is if there were unique titles given to the enlisted medical ranks (as in a "general" is really a "division doctor", a "lieutenant" is really a "military medical assistant"). So do you call a sergeant/starshina in the medical corps something other than sergeant? Just trying to learn more about the ranks.
What do you call someone wearing this:
