I've been watching an interesting series of documentaries recently, called "The Colour of War", which follows WW2 using colour film taken at that time. It's quite similar to the well know 'The World at War' series, and just as interesting.
The problem with most of these series are that they are written from a western perspective, and concentrate on the allied version of the war. Are there any similar series, written largely about the Russian version of WW2?
I recently watched 'Enemy at the Gates', which was quite an interesting film about the siege of Stalingrad. Are there any other films of this type, dealing with the Russian perspective on the war?
Kind Regards,
Shane Cook.
