Scans of Ukaz containing names of lenins, october revolutions, red stars, etc. awarded to Mongolians in 1971:
Based on 2 known data points (i.e. documented red stars awarded to Mongolians) it would appear that the range (at least for 1971 "mass awardings") for red stars awarded to Mongolians is from 3700000 to 3700144.
Anyone with a Red Star within that range, contact me and I can give the likely name (based on order of names in document which match exactly with known dates for two documented ones) of the recipient and his "job" title.
For the greater benefit, here's translation of the document I received back from the archives
- 4 order of lenins: probably around serial nr 400.000 plus or minus 1.000 - 2.000
- 16 order of october revolution: ??? TBD ???
- 35 order of red banner: probably around serial nr 560.000 plus or minus 10.000
- 145 order of red star (serial nr range from 3.700.000 to 3.700.144)
- 199 combat service medals: unnumbered
All awarded to Mongolians... and for the red star orders it's tentatively confirmed that the order of names on the document is aligned exactly with the actual serial nr's on awards.
