Diplomatic Uniforms and Insignia

Is it just me or does the branches on Comrade Molotov Remind you of the insignia of Himler?

There were quite a few similar uniforms. Some of then the dark green, some of them dark blue and some of them black. Just to give you some idea.

Or this dark blue uniform with light green piping and silver embroidery. And not only diplomats had daggers.

Isn't the second photo of a parade belt and dirk worn by senior commanders of NKPS?

Stunning design and use of color that other "service" uniforms just didn't have. Even the design drawing is more like a dinner jacket or some other type of evening formal wear - but then again, that was when they were normally worn - embassy functions.:)

Yes, this is m45 belt and dagger for m43 parade uniform for NKPS top commanding personal.

To me all soviet civil uniforms had the same basic design, embassy functions or not.

Great! I have actually never seen any of these before, hell I didn't even know that Soviet diplomats used uniforms. :D
