Whilst doing research on another Bulgarian General's group from the collection I found this interesting piece.

Protocol A #268 Of the Politburo of the Bulgarian Communist Party dated 15th December 1960.

Part IV 1. Increasing the pension of Avgust's mother (his father died in Moscow in the 1940's).

There will be a considerable amount of Bulgarian research presenting itself soon.

I have also obtained the official state produced book on Heroes Of The People's Republic Of Bulgaria and Socialist Labour which includes within it information on this star in the collection.

No new information on this Birthday present with all the information already in the official state issued documents that came with the Hero Star.

Avgust is the very first entry in the single Hero Of Socialist Labour section of the book "Labour Glory Of Bulgaria".

No new information as the large documents with his Hero Star have the full decree included.
