Help ID this Patch

Somebody can tell me somenthing about this Patch?
Is it Fake?
I saw one of this in the shouder of an Test Pilot in an Airshow
I bought like Kosmonaut Patch, but now I know that isn't.
I cut the picture because is so big to put here.

The patch is most likely post Soviet. That design was used shortly after the fall. I can't comment on authenticity.

Pretty sure that the insignia is the Russian Republic, the seal it used as one of the 15 republics. Don't know much more about the patch though. DougD

It is but I think it's post Soviet since it's missing the writing in the red banner.
