The first compass wrist Soviet officer
The first compass wrist Soviet officer is marked "ZUP Number 1 - 1941" begins war to the Russians.
The compass is fully functional, qudrante glass, bakelite in the back marked "3-3 pounds, very nice and well kept missing straps for sin that in this model had to be stopped in two pieces with studs. The second should be Bulgarian, much like the Soviet Union but with some differences: Bakelite, is not marked internally, dial glass, the back marked "1945" and an "A" inside a circle, end war, in this version leather strap had to be a single string with fibietta. Continuing the theme, place a piece that is not true militaria, but interesting, pocket a clock commemorating the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. This specimen dates from 60 -70 years, at that time over there and throughout Europe was quite "chilly" cold war. The movement according to experts is very good, excellent manual winding mechanisms, still perfectly functioning. Manufactured by Molnija / MOLNAR factory Chelyabinsky the same factory that for years since 1947 has produced watches and equipment for Soviet military and aerospace vehicles. Qualitatively speaking those objects were excellence worldwide. What do you think? Want to add Quelch what? enveroxa |

Nice pieces with an interesting contrast from soviet to bulgarian. I love the pocket watch also. I wonder how many common use items have picked up an order of victory over the years.

The pocket watches are a Molijna specialty - any major award you want on the cover from the Order of Victory to a KGB-FSB honored employee badge. Most of them have this sterling silver intricately baroque designed face, but some are white while others have some cover-related material printed on them. They were abundant very early on after the fall of communism, which makes me think they were even available to tourists before 1991.

Re: The first compass wrist Soviet officer
The Bulgarian compasses were made it such numbers you can still get original unissued ones on their leather straps for €2-3. The novelty of wearing them soon wears out when you start missing your watch.
