Badges of this kind were popular among collectors during the Soviet era. Itshows the heraldic emblem of Moscow from the days of the Russian Empire:scarlet red field with St. George slaying the dragon. The inscription at thetop in Old Slavonic style is МОСКВА (“Moscow”).
The badge is in aluminum and paint; measures31 mm tall, 26 mm wide. There is a Soviet era factory logo on the reverse and aretail price of 15 kopeks. The badge is in EXCELLENT unused condition. The pinattachment is intact and fully functional.
