He stayed at the front line amid the fighting for 12 hours and, in spite of unceasing aerial bombardments, correctly analyzed the situation, regularly informing the Military Council. In exceptionally complex conditions during the fighting along the Don River, Comrade Zhukov carried out important tasks assigned to him by the Military Council. He flew to the units at the front line in an U-2 aircraft, despite the fact that enemy aircraft dominated the skies. Comrade Zhukov is a fearless Red Army officer, always carrying out his combat missions with honour and never sparing his strength. He deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Banner.
