Permission to accept Yugoslavian award

An interesting doc that ended in my hands by accident - Ministry of Foreign Affairs permission to accept the awarded foreign award: "Order of the Yugoslav Banner with Sash" issued to deputy prime minister, Kazimierz Olszewski.

In Poland, everyone had to gain permission to accept foreign awards - as You can see - even the highest political figures.

Olszewski was born in 1917 near Lwów (Lviv), he studied at Politechnics of Lwów, was in the Red Army from 1941 to 1943 (saw Stalingrad, got CSM) and in the Polish Army in the East from 1943 to 1947, later worked in the industry. From late 50's he held posts related to foreign trade. From 1971 to 1974 he held ministerial posts: minister of Foreign Trade, Minister of Foreign Trade and Maritime economy, Minister of Sea transport. From 1972 to 1977 he was the deputy prime minister in the government of general Piotr Jaroszewicz. From 1971 to 1981 he was a member of the Central Committee of the PZPR, he was also a member of parliament and 1978-1981 he was Polish ambassador in Moscow.
He died 2 months ago at the age of 97, which may explain why his documents made it to the market.
