Interesting Russian items in the news lately

Heard this on the radio today whilst toiling in the saltmines here:Silence Broken On Red Army Rapes In Germany : NPR A story about German women and their treatment by Soviet soldiers in 1945. Not for the faint of heart I'd suspect.

And on Animal Planet the advertisments for the new show 'Wild Russia' look extremely interesting. Shows A-Z - wild russia on animal planet | TheFutonCritic.com Starts next Thursday I believe.

Eric - I just read your NPR link. It'll be very interesting to see if that German movie gets banned in any countries. It could run afoul of some recent laws in some places unfortunately. I'll be stateside in August, and hope to see it now that I know about it. Thank you...
