several badges - help needed
Please let me know if it's an official one or only a "tourist" version.

Re: several badges - help needed
My vote is tourist version for all. These definitely would not have been worn during the Soviet Union. Several bear post -91 Russian features, but I can maybe see veterans wearing these if anyone.

Re: several badges - help needed
I have a couple of variations on #2: one identical to the photo with an AK-47 in the fist and the other with a maroon and gold (instead of white and blue) background at the top and only the fist (no weapon) and both with "ВИТЯЗЬ" on them. Both of mine have Moscow Mint screw plates (which doesn't necessarily mean anything), BUT the second version (sans AK) is in Avers No. 2 which seemed to go farther into post-soviet badges than any of the others I've seen. It is in the RF MVD section and claims it was produced in 1995 from tombac and enamel. Whether this helps or makes it more confusing, I don't know. But here it is...;)
Scans from: АВЕРС № 2: Советские знаки и жетоны Катлог для коллекционеров В.Д. Кривцов, Москва-96. Phillip

KDVR,
I believe that they are all tourist-production. Marc |

Re: several badges - help needed
If they are all tourist items, why does Avers (and some other places) mention it?
Just a little confused. Thanks, Phillip
