cavalry hat

Well, I guess I'm really getting into the hat posting thing because here is my WW2 cavalry hat. It is much less spectacular than my 1945 general's but I still really like it. Enjoy.

By the way, the band isn't as baby blue as it looks in the pics--I think that's my digital camera doing its enhancement thing.

Nice hat. I read somewhere once that the lighter (tan vs. olive) top is for NCOs but I am not sure if that is really true.

By the way, you can get more true colour, but an overall crappier photo, by doing it in natural light near a window with the flash off. Important if you are ever dealing with a question specifically about colour.
