New Herfurth Catalogue!

The new Herfurth Catalogue is now out.

This time with colour pictures and variations.

It looks like Herefurth again does not list variations - on the page with Nevsky order there's only T1V2 - what happened to T1V1 and T1V3?

I see little value in this new book, there are much better references available.

The Newski page is in fact exactly as it previously was apart from small details.

It's in colour, the DM prices are gone and the catalogue number of the Newski Type 1 has moved about 5cm up the page.
If all the pages are the same then I would like to know what has been added.
Catalogue 3 did not have a Mongolian Ribbon chart, this was supposed to be put in this edition. However there is no mention of it in the description.

Price wise it's too blurred to tell.The € prices of this page in edition 3 are:

from top to bottom. €1230, €1020 and €280.

The prices, are probably as Herfurth states in Catalogue 3 for items that are in good condition, have their original components and show signs of wear.
He also states in Cat. 3 that the prices quoted are the average prices on the German and European market.

All in all it looks a bit dissapointing to say the least.

Any price list would be irrelevent at this point, as prices go up in unpredicted manner.

No matter how accurate your price list is it would be outdated the minute the book is published.

Apart from PMD Guide, which I have but believe it's not enough and apparently out of date in some details, what are the best references you would suggest? I mean for USSR Orders and Medals, but why not for Mongolian Awards too.

And for Badges?

Btw, in English, as I can't speak Russian...
I have that Borisov book, but the 3 pages in English only are a bit disappointing for me :(
