When did you buy the award that's worth the most in your collection?

Hello all,
Recently, there has been a lot of talk about raising prices and the future of soviet collecting, etc.

It was very interesting to read all posts and it gave me the idea to start this thread in order to get a better idea of the situation.

I would like to ask you to limit your answers by only giving the date (exact date or month + year, or even just year) when you purchased the award in your collection that today is worth the most.

This should help to get a better idea of the collecting trend.

By example, if you bought a Kutuzov 3rd class in 2001 for 700$ and today it's worth 7500$, and you also bought a screwback Lenin in 2005 for 3500$ and now it's worth 3900$, you would answer "2001".

It doesn't matter what the award is and how much is worth, but it's more a matter of knowing if people own's crown jewels were bought long ago, or if people are still buying their own crown jewel recently, which in my minds would mean that market is pretty healthy.

Please try to limit answers to a date only so it's easy to read.
(I am not asking for which award and price paid because I find this is more confidential.)

My most expensive awards were bought in October - November 2002.

The last serious single Soviet purchase - fall of 2003.

The most expensive non-Soviet award - March 2005.
