Badge "People's Deputy".

What do I have?

Anyone can shed some light on that badge?
Does it look legit and for what level of deputy was it for?
Finally, is it from the RSFSR (vertical blue line on the left)?

Sorry about a delayed response but I was away a lot last year.

Your badge appears to be peoples deputy from a lesser region/okrug/village etc. of the RSFSR. Oblasts badges have the name of the Oblast. All peoples deputy badges followed the flag of the republic but differed in legend or shape if they were important enough. Otherwise the mint made standard badges and you got the standard. It would date frm 1990-91.

Thanks for the reply Aharim. I am a bit confused because I have some badges for deputy of village, town and cities for Ukrainian SSR and RSFSR and they are all of a more "square" shape (or even, a vertical rectangle, instead of the horizontal shape shown in my post). Is it a different standard/period that explain the difference in shape? Are the "square" ones from the 1960-1980 while the one from my previous post dates from 1990s.

Thanks for your expertise.
I have avers #2 and that is about all what I can afford for badges. I have just some very common badges (probably all in the 1-5$ range).
