Ebay jokes
I saw this on eb.. tonight. The seller calls it "russian ussr soviet medal / military science nuclear".

At a quick glance I knew he was totally amiss. It is a US Army Distinctive Unit Insignia aka Unit Crest. It is for the US Army Missile and Munitions Center and School at the Redstone Arsenal, located on the southwestern side of Huntsville, Alabama.

That is a long way from the Soviet Union.

What the seller must have meant was: rare (it is, isn't it? shops don't sell those!), general (purpose) cap. Sergei.

Never a captain or major, always a general, the soviet army must have been extremely top heavy!
