Ain't that the truth.
I've been looking at these things for years and am little closer to telling good from bad then when I started.
It amazes me how guys like Alexei and Marc and Paul are so well versed. They must have a special gene or something. ;)

Nope, we just scrutinize each and every minute detail, and compare it to known original pieces, that's all. You've got to be thorough :D

PS: in this case, I agree with George that the handwriting has a very modern, way past WW2 flavor...

Marsino,
The booklet itself does not raise any question, the entries might. Please post the first pages.

RedMaestro2,
I'm not an expert by any ones standards. But personally, I don't like it. It has a contrived look.

RedMaestro,
I am not overly keen on the handwriting at all. Many blank booklets were "privatized" (or "liberated") after the fall of the SU, especially in the Л94xxxx and Л95xxxx series. The only way to tell if it is genuine would be to order the UK on that ORS, the serial number of the OK is recorded on it.
