SovietWW2 Award Payment Coupon Booklet, supplement for an order booklet.
This isa GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL, officially issued Soviet award document - not areplica or reissue!
Thedocument was issued to a recipient of a decoration who was eligible to receivemonthly monetary reward for being awarded. Judging by the amount, 10 rublesmonthly, the award was probably an Order of the Red Star. The payment began on1 March 1946 which means that the award was bestowed during the previous monthof February 1946. It is interesting to see that most of the monthly coupons inthe booklet are unused: the payments stopped in 1947 when the Soviet governmentissued a decree stopping all payments for awards and effectively stiffingmillions of WW2 veterans out of their hard-earned reward. There were otherbenefits that remained, but the monthly pension became a thing of the pastafter 1947, so these booklets were mostly discarded and now not too easy tofind.
Thedocument is in great condition, with intact cloth binding and clean internalpages.
Aninteresting document of WW2 era!
