Evidently the wildcard symbol " * " does not work on this site.
I only tried it with one letter in front of it, that may make a difference as some site require more than one letter preceeding the wildcard.

I don't know if anyone has noticed yet but the "site" now offers OPW '85 information.

The OPW '85 "awards" do not have the usual Red Star logo on the left but a 40 logo.

Don't expect citations or tales of heroics as there is just a recipient name and date.

Well, at that time it didn't seem like such sources would appear. Research was surrounded in an cult-like aura of mystery, archival contacts were unreliable, etc. Podvig only appeared recently.

So I suppose I've answered my own question.

Nice to be able to get more info on our groups. However, we now learn that many of our groups, which we thought were complete, are at least missing Jubilee OPWs!

For the ones which would have qualified for a Jubilee OPW and for which no record are present in Podvig Naroda, can we assume they had already passed away by April 1985? Or maybe the archives are not completely loaded yet?
