Here is Type 1 #0076061 awarded to Senior Sergeant Andrej Danilovich Korpich, Assistant Attendant by the Management Of Affairs Of The People's Commissariat Of Defence on 23rd June 1945.

The act lists 298 recipients - all of the Red Book (58000-58200 and 76000-76100 serial ranges) and all to the management rather than parade participants.

Korpich had a lucky escape as he was captured by the Axis in September 1942 on the bank of the Volga at Beketovka (on the south side of Stalingrad) and later liberated by Soviet forces, to be re-enlisted into the Red Army. (Senior Sergeant may seem a high rank for someone who had allowed themselves to be captured but he was a Technical Intendant 2nd Rank, Lieutenant equivalent, when he was captured).

Korpich was serving in the 106th Rifle Regiment of the 29th Rifle Division (2nd Formation) in the 64th Army. At the time of his capture the division had been reduced from c12,000 personnel to ~200 - supported by five remaining artillery pieces. The division was reinforced with 4 regiments of cadets to allow it to remain active during the battle of Stalingrad.

He must have been liberated shortly after his capture to have been promoted to Senior Sergeant by June 1945 - Many 106th Regiment Stalingrad POWs were not liberated until April 1945.
