Here is ONE document with TWO Handwritten UNION ARMY military notes. Not sure where statement #1 is found , but this is Notes 2 & 3.NOTE II reads: Captain JOHN C. RODGERS, 12th Tenn Cavaly (sp) - (Union Cavalry) is hereby relieved from Command of the Recruiting Rendezvous in this city and will report immediately to the Commanding Officer of his Regiment for duty.
NOTE III reads: 1st Lieut. JOHN M. JORDAN, 12th Tenn. Cavalry is hereby detailed on Recruiting Service, he will relieve Capt. John C. Rodgers from Command of the Recruiting Rendezvous in this City and will furnish substance and Clothing to all Recruits bought to his Cam for Tennessee Regiments that have been regularly enlisted and received and received into the United States by Medical Officers.
