1898 SPANISH AMERICAN WAR PRISONER SHACKLES WITH PROVENANCE For Sale

An unusual find that was among a collection of antique handcuffs (I'll also be listing this week!). This shackle has an unmatched period patina and to have the document attached is incredible. From what I can read, it was removed by General (?) in Puerto Rico during American occupation and dated 1898. This tag is 100% authentic and period and with a little research and sleuth work, I'm sure someone can identify the names written on it. A very interesting and highly unique historical find for your collection. Check my response!
