1980s Hungary Hungarian People\'s Republic Army Parachutist Wing Brevet:

Very nice, original parachutist brevet from Hungary, worn during the communist era when the country was the Hungarian People\'s Republic. This was the basic badge awarded for completing the airborne training course. Cast metal and baked enamel construction, with unique Hungarian \"prong\" fasteners on the reverse side. No hallmarks. The badge measures 35mm in diameter and is in excellent condition, although it was pulled from a display and has some strange residue on the back side from display material (foam, I believe).
