This is a rare 100% authentic Society of the Army of Santiago Medal Badge, with a numbered back indicating it was awarded to (future Brigadier General) CHARLES AUSTIN COOLlDGE, who was an important military officer during multiple wars and conflicts over almost 50 years of US history. The medal was manufactured in the United States for specific vets of the Spanish-American War (1898-1902) and is an original piece of militaria. It is a historic piece of US Army memorabilia, perfect for any collector or enthusiast. Includes 2 other pins and extra ribbon. Recently deaccessioned from a Museum in Houston Texas. As shown with separation and wear to ribbon only. Medal itself looks great! Enjoy!!
