ARMY OF TENNESSEE LOUISIANA DIVISION ORLEANS ARTILLERY NAMED CIVIL WAR MEDAL !
If anyone has any more information please let me know! Engraved on the sterling silver medal is JD Robinson. The soldiers name was John D. Robsinson of company D Orleans artillery. It was originally hanging from a ribbon as depicted in the last photo. The ruler photo has been digitally modified... The sterling medal weighs 12 grams.
I have added photos of a booklet naming John D. Robinson of the Tennessee Army Louisiana Division veterans. I also included photos of the tomb in the Metairie Cemetary in New Orleans and a ribbon depicting the medal in its original state. The booklet and the other images are for informational purposes only and aren't included in the listing. It would make an excellent addition to any collection.
