Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique WWI Bavarian Artillery Officer's Sword with Scabbard, Made inSolingen Germany. The Sword Has a Brass Finish, and Has a Wire Wrapped Handle with Painted Metal Scabbard. The Sword Measures approx. 36 3/4" Long with a 31 1/2" Blade. The Total Length in the Scabbard is Approx. 37 1/2" Long. The Blade is in Good Clean Condition, and Etched on Both Sides "In Treue Fest". This is in GoodOriginal Condition As Pictured, with a Nice Aged Patina! Some of the Wire Wrap on the Handle is Missing, as Pictured. A Great Original Sword!!! Click and Enlarge Photos for Details!
